Kristin's blog: Tina & Tim: Pre-Wedding Festivities

Last Friday, July 2 was Tina & Tim's wedding! It was at Pinecrest Country Club, which is about 10 mins. from my house. The place was beautiful! The past few weeks it's been over 100 or in the 90's and humid! This whole time we have been nervous what the wedding temp would be like 1) because a lot of my friends & I sweat a lot and 2) our curly hair/the heat & humidity! It just so happened there were 2 or 3 days where it was about 80 and not humid - Tina's wedding happened to fall on one of these days-- we were soo lucky! The rehearsal took place Thursday night - we went to Pinecrest and "rehearsed" then went back to the Neubert house for a nice catered meal, socializing, and ice cream cake/sparklers!

The bride-to-be and I, friends since 7th. She was nice enough to put on a dress for us, even if it was after her aunt made her change!

Tina & Tim - the almost newlyweds. We sang to Tim because his birthday was later in the week. Also put some sparklers on the cake to celebrate 4th of July weekend!

Wedding day... Our first stop was the hair salon at 11am. Can you tell this is the back of my head? This was all my natural curl. I didn't know what she was going to do w/my hair, but it only took her 5 mins and a lot of hair spray! I wasn't sure about it at first, but once jewels and makeup were added I liked it ! :)

After we got our hair done, we went to Tina's parents house to do our makeup and get dressed for some pictures. Here are Sheilagh & I ready to go!

After we were done with pictures at the house, we headed to Pinecrest and hung in the bridal suite. We listened to tunes, laughed, told stories, and toasted to Tina & Tim! Love this pic of Tapsy & Sheilagh!
