The end of CA: 26 + 1st Birthdays, Alcatraz, and Easter

My 26th birthday was on April 2nd and I got to celebrate in CA! Everyone took care of me and we had a lot of fun! The day started with some starbucks, delicious breakfast, chatter, and games! Then there was a knock on the door -- Heather tried to peek outside and thought maybe it was Joe! Although, it didn't end up being Joe himself he did send chocolate covered strawberries and a balloon. Isn't he so thoughtful?!

My treats from Joe!

The birthday girls (this was a month after Baby O's first). I am sure you took notice I am wearing my new Giants tee. Don't worry Phils are still my favorite!

Melanie, Heather, and Aunt Sandy playing Rummy. We missed my mom and Aunt Sue playing these games!

Heather planned a birthday dinner for me at Buca Di Beppo in San Francisco. (Great idea!) Buca is a family style Italian restaurant. Here is the whole clan at dinner...we were missing Vernie as he had ditched us for his softball game!

Aunt Sandy + Mich enjoying a nice drink. Cheers!

Cute picture of 3 generations:
Mel, Kira, Mason, and Uncle Bill

And we ended the night with a huuugeee brownie sundae for all! Thanks everyone for the fun!
The next day Aunt Cindy, Aunt Sandy, Mich, and I went to San Francisco to do a tour of Alcatraz. Here is the Golden Gate Bridge on the ferry to Alcatraz!

Alcatraz off in the distance

... And Alcatraz up close.

After Alcatraz I wanted to go to Fisherman's Wharf and see the seals! It took a little while but we found them..

Here is a shot of San Francisco - such a pretty view!

After our tour of San Fran, we headed to the Romios house in Berkley for a belated birthday bash for Olive!

Here is Nikos singing "Happy Birthday" to himself after we sang to Olive. He also wanted to know when he got to open up presents!

Here is Baby O enjoying her cupcake-- semi eating it/wearing it!

The last day of my trip was Easter. Here is a shot of the Romios/Roberts cousins all dressed up!

The Romios family minus Baby O (she was napping)

...and the Roberts 5 lookin' good

Baby O geared up for Easter in her bunny jacket..

Aunt Cindy's jello mold.. it looked great!
After a wonderful Easter dinner , I got my bags ready to head back to the East Coast. I had more plane troubles and had to be on the phone with Delta for awhile. After the problems on the way out, I was fed up! To make a long story short, I ended up getting a $100 voucher for Delta. Possibly another Cali trip next year?
